Welcome to 3 Pillars Fitness, a private full service gym, located on Frankel Avenue. Our belief is that everyone can get to the best shape of their lives if they follow the correct program. We offer fully customised personal training, training on demand, and open gym sessions during regular operating hours. Stay tuned for upcoming classes and workshops too! There is also body composition analysis, meal planning services and custom exercise program design in addition to our top notch personal trainings. Strength

Strength is a prerequisite to function. The ability to move not only our bodies, but heavy objects as well, is key to our functionality as humans. Imagine sitting down, walking, running, and jumping without pain. The stronger your body is, the better it is equipped to deal with everyday life. It is never too late to start.

Recovery

Without recovery, the best training plan will fail. We require time to rest and repair the damage. There is no such thing as overtraining, only under recovery. Our programs are designed to give you all the tools you need to recover properly. Sleep habits, stress relief, and other strategies are available as needed.

Underpinning the first two, proper nutrition gives us the energy we need, the ability to fight off disease, and allows us to recover from our workouts. Without it, our bodies flounder, become weak and sick. Our nutrition programs are fully customised to your preferences and needs. Let’s ditch the “diet.”

Functional Training

Functional training is perhaps the most overused and misunderstood word in fitness today. The way we think its meant to be defined is optimizing your functionality in your everyday life. There are many tools and modalities to achieve this. It might be strength training, flexibility, balance, correcting muscle imbalances or core training. We will take a thorough assessment of your current state including your daily challenges, and design a training program to help you not only achieve your goals, but optimize your life.

Strength Training

Strength is one of the 3 Pillars of Fitness. And around here, there is no school like the old school. We can focus on the big 6 strength exercises: back squats, deadlifts, bench presses, overhead presses, chin ups and barbell rows or we can use many variations that suit your needs better. Movements and muscles are the important thing, and they never change. It doesn’t matter how strong you are now, but how strong you can be. The best time to start is now.
